I am, professionally, a writer, a waitress, a teacher, and a student. I am, recreationally, a collagist, a doodler, and an occasional spellcaster. At present, I enjoy thinking about: mirrors, animal totems, playgrounds, dreams, conspiracy, stained glass, sleep paralysis, cruise ships.

I currently live in Charlottesville, Virginia with my gerbil, Dr. Phil. I currently hold a bachelor of arts from Cornell University and am working on an MFA in fiction writing from the University of Virginia.
